About Eurocross
Trend-setting in providing assistance worldwide
Eurocross Assistance is a division of Achmea and has been trend-setting in the sphere of international assistance since 1982. Millions of people can count on help from Eurocross, anywhere in the world. Medical assistance and breakdown services, but also help that is needed closer to home, in the sphere of fire damage, storm or water damage, for example. Eurocross also offers security with the ActionLine personal alarm service, enabling elderly people or those with a physical handicap to continue to live independently as long as possible.
The clients of Eurocross include, among others, medical insurers, travel insurers, motor vehicle insurers, lease companies, car dealers and importers, banks, credit card companies, property insurers, housing associations and welfare and domestic care institutions. They not only trust Eurocross with providing assistance to their clients, but also with administrative and financial matters relating to, for example, bills in the event of repatriation, alternative transport or a stay in a foreign hospital.
Motivated staff
Eurocross employs around 300 motivated staff members. They offer professional and personal assistance from its offices in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. By really listening to the person concerned, relieving him/her of concerns, suggesting solutions and getting people back on their way again. Worldwide, 7 days per week and 365 days per year.
Always a solution
The staff at Eurocross offers help with their heart and soul. Because the core values 'empathy', 'association', 'fulfilment' and 'motivation' always form the basis when offering any kind of service. Decisiveness, creativity and commitment are their main qualities. And with that, they offer a solution every single time.
A really different profession
Providing international assistance is sheer human work and a really different profession in the opinion of Eurocross. Which is why the organisation constantly invests in specific training courses, for example, and knowledge of languages, communicative skills and practical courses and traineeships. The educational programme of Eurocross is offered at the organisation’s own Eurocross Assistance Academy.
Worldwide partner network
Eurocross cannot do its job without the efforts on the part its worldwide network of (medical) assistants and service professionals. Motivated specialists with whom we maintain close and personal contact. We meanwhile work with tens of thousands of people, specialised in all of the necessary disciplines: ranging from doctors to salvagers, from substitute drivers to contact agents. A network that stands for quality and that builds up quality and know-how in the sphere of urgent, personal assistance everyday.
European alliance
Eurocross is one of the founders of Astrum Assistance Alliance; an international alliance in which five major, independent European emergency centres have joined forces worldwide: Eurocross Assistance (Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria), SOS International (Scandinavia), Roland Assistance (Germany), Fidelia Assistance (France), Mobi-24 (Switzerland). Scaling-up, central purchasing and making use of one another’s local networks result in optimal quality, efficiency and sharp rates.
